In 1878, Esther Cox of Amherst, Nova Scotia became the unfortunate focus of otherworldly attention in a series of poltergeist haunting. In the presence of witnesses, items in her home such as dishes, utensils and even furniture would move around, as if by some invisible force. There were unexplained noises and rapping sounds. But it would get worse.
